Ingo Lange

 

After an MSc. in Biology/Marine Ecology at the University of Kiel 1987 and work as a research scientist, Ingo Lange did post-graduate education as systems analyst and worked in IC, including as director of a company involved in maritime logistic & waste-management solutions.

He became interested in natural materials & wooden housing, urban solutions from Scandinavia before moving to Singapore in 2000 as Chief Technical Officer for a global enterprise. Part-time teaching in Singaporean & Namibian schools led to  an interest in Green Schools and their development.

CREATING A GREEN SCHOOLS NETWORK

This presentation looks at the possibilities inherent in changing all to Green Schools and proposes that UNESCO ESD be integrated into the curriculum. This includes a rating system – HOW GREEN IS MY SCHOOL? - to add selection criteria, value & momentum to be developed from existing models.
