He became interested in natural materials & wooden housing, urban solutions from Scandinavia before moving to Singapore in 2000 as Chief Technical Officer for a global enterprise. Part-time teaching in Singaporean & Namibian schools led to  an interest in Green Schools and their development.

This presentation looks at the possibilities inherent in changing all to Green Schools and proposes that UNESCO ESD be integrated into the curriculum. This includes a rating system – HOW GREEN IS MY SCHOOL? - to add selection criteria, value & momentum to be developed from existing models.
